David Steinberg is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder based in New York City responsible for implementing the company’s overall investment strategy and overseeing its capital raising activity. He has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience and focuses on capital raising and deal sourcing, with a concentration on special situation debt and equity opportunities. Prior to FCP, he was a Principal and Managing Director of Madison Capital since 2010 serving as Head of Acquisitions and a member of the firm’s investment committee. At Madison, he oversaw debt and equity transactions in excess of $2 billion, covering retail, office, hospitality and multifamily assets in major U.S. markets. Prior to joining the team at Madison, Mr. Steinberg was a Founder and Managing Principal of FrontView Group, a private real estate investment and advisory firm, where he was responsible for the firm’s principal investment activities. Before FrontView, Mr. Steinberg served as a Vice President at Antares Investment Partners, a real estate private equity and development firm. Mr. Steinberg spent the first six years of his real estate career as an attorney at the New York City offices of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP and Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP. While at these firms, he represented private equity funds, investment banks and developers in all aspects of commercial real estate, including the origination and syndication of billions of dollars in mortgage and mezzanine debt. Mr. Steinberg received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Tufts University and he earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law.
Nirmal Roy is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder based in Miami overseeing the company’s acquisition and asset management activities in the United States. Prior to FCP, Mr. Roy was a Partner and Investment Analyst at BHR Capital, a hedge fund specializing in special situation investments with a focus on bottom-up fundamental analysis across the capital structure. At peak, BHR Capital managed $1.8 billion of equity across three funds and Mr. Roy was responsible for all real estate related investments globally for the fund. Prior to joining BHR, Mr. Roy was an Associate at Meadow Partners where he was the first employee hired after the firm was founded by the original three partners. While at Meadow Partners, Mr. Roy underwrote and closed six transactions totaling approximately $400 million of total capital and $150 million of equity of the firm's initial Meadow Real Estate Fund I. Prior to joining Meadow, Mr. Roy was an Investment Analyst at Silver Point Capital, an $8 billion hedge fund focused on private and public distressed credit investments across a variety of sectors. Prior to joining Silver Point, Mr. Roy was an Investment Analyst at Starwood Capital Group where he focused on the acquisition of real estate assets and publicly traded real estate companies in the U.S. and internationally. Mr. Roy served as the primary analyst on the bid for Equity Office Properties which was the largest proposed merger in U.S. history at the time. Mr. Roy received a Bachelor of Science in Economics, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate and a minor in Spanish.
Nate Dickey-White joined the company in 2018 where he serves as the Head of Acquisitions and is a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Dickey-White is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring, and closing potential investments, with a focus on opportunistic transactions and special situations across the capital stack. Mr. Dickey-White has been involved in the execution of all of the firm’s investments since inception
Prior to joining FCP, Mr. Dickey-White served as Vice President of Acquisitions at Madison Capital, where he spent almost four years working on the acquisitions team with David Steinberg. In this role, Mr. Dickey-White was responsible for underwriting and analyzing potential acquisitions including direct property acquisitions, loan investments, and note acquisitions. While at Madison Capital, Mr. Dickey-White was involved in the execution of debt and equity transactions totaling nearly $800 million across all asset classes in major US markets. Mr. Dickey-White began his career as an analyst in Cushman & Wakefield’s Investment Banking Group, where he worked closely with members of the Capital Markets Group to assist corporations in maximizing real estate value using structured financial products involving tax, capital, and accounting strategies. Mr. Dickey-White received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics from Columbia University.
Sam Koeppel joined the company as the Head of Asset Management in 2021. In his role, Sam is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day Asset Management of a diversified portfolio that includes office, retail, industrial, multi-family, hospitality, and manufactured housing, as well as preferred equity and debt investments, located across the continental United States. Prior to FCP, Sam served as a Managing Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management for a private condominium developer where he was responsible for sourcing and managing new investments, raising debt and equity, and operating a portfolio of rent stabilized units, and was responsible for overseeing the firms retail, industrial, and hospitality assets. Sam started his career at Newmark Knight Frank as an associate, working on a national consulting team that focused on investment sales and tenant representation transactions. To date, he has closing transactions totaling more than $5 billion. Mr. Koeppel received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Marymount Manhattan College and earned his MBA from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University. He resides in Manhattan with his wife and two daughters.
David Greenberg joined the company in 2018 as the Chief Financial Officer and a Principal, overseeing the day-to-day administration of accounting, tax, compliance, and operations. Prior to FCP, David was a Partner and COO at a NYC focused real estate investment management and brokerage company where he oversaw acquisitions and investor relations. Mr. Greenberg also worked for private equity firms focusing on mergers and acquisitions and real estate. There he was tasked with various investment, finance, accounting, tax, reporting and management roles for entities managing and deploying in excess of $10 billion. David also worked in public accounting where he focused on the financial services industry. David graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, specializing in finance and minoring in justice. He then went on to graduate from The City University of New York – Baruch College where he earned a Masters in Accountancy degree. Mr. Greenberg is licensed as a certified public accountant and is a licensed real estate broker in New York and New Jersey.
